Sedef Shipyard has signed a contract in December 2021 for a floating dry dock with Austal USA LLC, a renowned American shipbuilder providing newbuilding and repair and maintenance services to US Navy vessels. The floating dock will be 162 meters in length and 47 meters in width, and will have a lifting capacity of 9000 tons.
